BRBC 2014 Fall In The Felicianas Fall Century!

FALL IN THE FELICIANAS
BATON ROUGE BICYCLE CLUB
EVENT DAY REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE.
Scenic countryside supported bicycle ride offering a 100 mile route and various distance options.  Enjoy rolling hills and shaded streets with historic homes throughout and near the route.  This is a well supported event with rest stops stocked with refreshments and snacks to keep you fueled.  There will be a good time for all at the after ride party with lunch prepared by some of our favorite local Cajuns!  We will start and finish at Mike and Marie Rourke’s Camp, 13918 Highway 421 (Spillman Road), offering ample parking and restrooms and with lunch starting at 11:30 am, including post-ride beverages donated by Mockler Beverages. Maps with cue sheets and route support will be provided and a few extra surprise goodies.  
Be sure to explore the area attractions.  There are historic homes offering lodging and tours, including one of America’s Most Haunted Homes!

Route/Distance Options
Start times and approximate distances:
  • Century (100 mi) begins at 7:30am
  • Metric (65 mi) begins at 8:30am
  • Half (43 mi) begins at 9:00am
  • Quarter (28 mi) begins at 9:30am
Event day Registration and check in begins at 7:00am.
Registration Options and Timelines:
Early registration is available at a special offering of $35 until 12am on Oct 10, 2014.  Early or Pre-registration is recommended for event day time savings.  Event day registration will be available for $40. 
Bring evidence of your pre-registration with you and check-in at the registration table prior to your event.  All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.  There is no RAIN date available for this event.
Safety Information:
These rides are held on public roads open to other vehicles. Riders should expect to encounter motorists and be prepared for road hazards. Participants should operate their bicycles in a safe and lawful manner, obeying traffic laws throughout the ride.
The BRBC requires the use of ANSI or Snell approved helmets for this event.
Everyone is encouraged to ride with a partner. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Local & More Information:
A block of rooms has been reserved for participants at the Magnuson hotel for Friday night.  Ask for the Baton Rouge Bike Club event.  (Rooms are scarce due to the paintball tournament at WFSP)
