"6:30 TRACK" at the Velodrome
6:30 TRACK is
beginning Track cycling instruction for the
public. Instruction teaches basic Track
cycling, and offers informal training tips
and advice. We meet each Wednesday at 6:30PM
- at the BREC Velodrome.
Everyone is invited -
men, women, juniors and seniors – cyclists
of all ages, and levels of ability. Cycling
coaches, and experienced Track cyclists are
on site, and it's absolutely FREE!
If you enjoy
Aerobics, Spinning, or compete in Triathlons
and Duathons, you'll find that Track cycling
is one the safest, most effective aerobic
exercises. The Track offers a safe
year-round cycling environment, including
lighting for cycling after-hours.
In addition, cycling
on the Track is the most effective way to
develop an efficient Spin (pedaling motion).
Cyclists with an efficient Spin, produce
greater power output with minimal effort.
The better your Spin is - the faster and
farther you'll go.
We'll also teach you
how Track cycling improves bike handling
skills, riding in a pack safely leg
strength…etc.
Bring your bike, your
helmet and join us!
(All types of bikes are welcome.)
