Join me for a B paced ride along the bayou, and including a ride across the Mississippi on the Plaquemine Ferry. Clip in time is 8:30 at Roberto’s Restaurant on River Road, 2 blocks upriver from Bayou Paul Road (First red light in Iberville Parish after leaving East Baton Rouge)

We will take river road to the ferry, catch the 9:15 ferry to Plaquemine, so West Bank participants can meet us at the ferry landing at 9:20. Then the route goes through Plaquemine, along the bayou, and follows LA-77 to as far as Gross Tete and returns. It’s an “out and back” route so it’s hard to get lost.

Full route is 59 miles, but there are intermediate turnarounds for 27 and 48 miles. The route is entirely flat, except to climb the levees and the drawbridge over Bayou Plaquemine and the Intercoastal Canal
